Five charged after series of raids net drugs, guns in Spryfield area

Four men and a woman are facing multiple charges after a series of police raids in Spryfield that netted illegal drugs and guns.

Police seized over a kilo of hash, ammunition for a handgun, more than 160 grams of cocaine, about 100 methamphetamine pills, more than 100 grams of powdered methamphetamine, about  1,100 LSD patches, pot, heroin, fentanyl and MDMA, and over 3,000 various prescription pills at a Dentith Road residence, according to a police news release.

At Pablo and Miyahs Pizza, located at 16 Dentith Rd., investigators seized over $40,000 and two loaded handguns.

They also raided an address in the 200 block of St. Margaret’s Bay Road, seizing cash, hash, and some “edged weapons,” said the  release.
